I can’t believe it is October. First of all this means I’m turning 30. I don’t really know how I feel about that to be honest. I still dont feel like I have my life figured out but I think I’ll kinda always feel that way no matter where I’m at in life. There is always something we can do better or something that we are “missing” in life you know, so I’d rather just accept the fact that it is okay to not have it all figured out and no one really has it all figured out. They say the 30s is the new 20s, I really hope they are right. Also my friends have told me that these years have been one of the best years of their lives so I hope that is true as well for me :P haha
Beside turning 30 this month; it also means there are only two months left for 2021 to end. That is crazy. I got a lot of catching up to do with the blog and youtube. I’m not sure if I have the time to catch up with everything but I really hope so. Beside that I am pretty ok with this year. This year has been a year of a lot of growth and self awareness and healing and I feel really good about it even though it has been tough also. But I do have some specific goals for October that I want to try to keep up with, so let me share those with you:
Less social media
It’s so easy to waste your time on social media looking at where other people are in their lives or what they are doing and you know also it’s just too much information about random things that I dont really need in my life. So I want to use social media less. I’d rather read books and obtain some useful information that can help me grow. Not that social media isn’t informative or inspiring, but sometimes it can be too much and have a negative effect on me as well. It really depends on how I’m actually feeling and what I see on social media at the same time.
Workout 3-4 times a week
I’ve got a personal trainer last month who I work out with every week, beside that I do cardio whenever I have the time and feel like it. But I want to be more consistent with working out and workout even more, so I’m gonna try to workout 3-4 times a week this month.
No Netflix, HBO etc.
I’ve been watching a bunch of series lately. I’ve managed to finish off a lot also in like a couple of weeks. I could really use that time on something else like blog and youtube. It’s like I work a lot and then I watch Netflix and then I sleep and I workout sometimes. I want to be more productive and I think I can save a lot of time if I just cut Netflix and Instagram out of my life :P I’m not saying I’m gonna cut it 100 % though. I like watching series and I like being on Instagram. I just want to spend less time on it. A lot less time on it so I have time for other things in life :)
