Hello readers!
It is December! My favourite month has started. I cannot tell you how much I look forward to December every year. Christmas is magical. It brings friends and family together. The decorations brighten up your home. People tend to smile more. There is music every where. Everything just seems… better. Of course we shouldn’t forget what we’re celebrating this time of year – the birth of baby Jesus <3
Back home with my parents we used to decorate the house with Christmas ornaments and lights. My dad and sister would go out and find a Christmas tree and we would invite our cousins over and decorate it with them. I always got to put the star on top of the tree and when I did my sister would switch on all the Christmas lights in the house and on the tree. That’s how we always started our Christmas month. My husband and I were home last weekend since we won’t be celebrating Christmas with mom and dad this year. We had a lovely pre-Christmas dinner with games, delicious food and fun as always. This year Veena, Nila, Nisha and Joel joined us as well. Couldn’t think of a better way to enter December :)
To spread a little bit of Christmas spirit I already started decorating our home 2 weeks ago. I took a few pictures along the way. Have a look :) And have a splendid day.
