A few weeks ago, my friends surprised me with a baby shower, and I was completely overwhelmed (and awkward!) because, you know… center-of-attention anxiety issues xD. But they all know me well, and that gave me a bit of peace of mind. I had such a great time! They did an amazing job with the decor, food, games and most importantly, their company and the overall vibe. <3 It meant a lot.
I truly appreciated it and was so grateful that so many came to surprise me and celebrate this new chapter with us. It meant a lot, even if I didn’t show it much since I was just too shy and overwhelmed in the moment. Also, being in my third trimester and just getting home from the maternity shoot, I was already a little low on energy but they were all cool about it <3
I did have a hunch it might be that day. We were heading out for a maternity shoot, and I had a feeling… especially since my dad kind of let it slip during a phone call at some point xD. But I never expected so many people to come or for it to be so grand. It honestly made me really happy. <3
