It is time for a motivational post with tips and tricks. I have got 3 topics to talk about: PEACE, HAPPINESS and FRIENDSHIP.
One of the most important things in life is getting peace with yourself: To Find Peace In Your Inner Soul. There are different ways to find your inner peace, here are some tips to how I work on it myself:
- One of the best ways are definitely meditation. I wish I did this more often to be honest but meditation definitely helps. There are different ways of meditation.
- I have worked with breathing exercises before I sleep as a meditation. That helped very well.
- You can also do breathing exercises with a candle; You sit still with a candle, and inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Remember only to focus on your breathing and nothing else.
- Yoga is definetly also a way of meditating. I have tried it but yoga is not really my best friend. I wish I was better at it and I am still working on it but my I am not that flexible so I struggle a lot :P It IS a good way of meditating and finding peace
- In generel using time on yourself is a way of finding peace with your inner self. You can do that in different ways:
- Reading books & magazines
- Listening to books –> Audible.com (I personally love it)
- Being healthy: Eating healthy and doing exercise regularly
- To pamper yourself: Facial, getting a massage, getting a haircut, doing your nails and all random beauty treatments for yourself.
Well this topic about being happy is not something new. I have been talking about it on the blog before but let me just give you some tips yet again:
- Do excercise
- Eat healthy
- Try to organize your life as much as possible: Clean your apartment, use a calendar for schedules etc.
- Do not forget to take care of yourself and take a break and days off some time
- Meditate (Find your inner peace as I have mentioned this earlier)
- Do not forget who you are; Always remember to say NO if there is something you do not want or like
- Take risks/Do not always stay in your comfort zone –> Push yourself at times and challenge yourself so you can grow as a person
- Bond with the people that you love –> Definitely makes you happy!
- Watch postive series/movies that can lighten your mood: For instance FRIENDS or Modern Family! Or just go on youtube! There are plenty of funny videos :D
- Get some fresh air: Go for a walk! It will get you in a better mood and it will make you focus on something else; And a bonus: It is good for your skin! :)
One of the best things in the world is FRIENDSHIP. Bonding with people; Creating a relationship with someone. Taking care of someone or be there for someone and have someone who cares for you and who you can always count on! It is a beautiful thing that will inspire you and motivate you and keep you going through life no matter how hard it is. But to feel this way you need the right kind of friends for you. Here are some 5 facts I think is important in a friendship to build something strong:
- Who you trust and are loyal to is a choice. You cannot build a strong bond without trusting each other and not being open to each other. Fake relationships are not worth anything.
- You have to show appreciation and gratitude towards your friends. They deserve it. Do not use them and then expect them to always be there for you.
- You need to understand each other; Understand about who they are as a person and why they are the way they are.
- You have to be honest with each other no matter if it is a good or a bad thing you need to share. You will not know each other well if you cannot be honest with each other about how you feel and your opinions to certain things. But that does not mean you have to be rude when you are honest.
- Be Happy For One Another: Friends share their individual happy moments and achievements with each other. As a real friend always be happy for each other! In other words: Jealousy is a NO GO! Do not compare yourself to your friends and get jealous; that is the worse thing to do to yourself and to your friends! It is not fair!
