Restaurant Nögen

I went to Restaurant Nögen for the second time because I was so impressed the last time I went there to celebrate my friends’ birthday (read the blog post). This time it was all right, but I wasn’t as impressed as I was last time. I think the previous time we had more restrictions because I was pregnant; we said no seafood, no tomatoes (I think), and since I had GDM, everything needed to be GDM-friendly. And we loved the food. This time the food was good, but it could have been better.

That said, I still love their whole concept: creating dishes using ingredients that would otherwise go to waste, and having no set menu, so you never really know what to expect. It makes the experience so much fun. And the interior is amazing. I love that place; both the vibe and the concept. It will always be a unique experience to go there, and that’s something I really appreciate.
