Pregnancy Essentials I’ve been loving

Okay now, let’s talk pregnancy essentials I’ve been enjoying during my pregnancy!

THE PREGNANCY PILLOW

I really underestimated this pregnancy pillow. At first, I was like, Nah, I’ll be all right. Why spend money on something like this? But… oh my god… I was wrong. My husband bought this for me spontaneously, and it has been the best thing ever! I would recommend it to anyone!

SOFT “MOCHI CUSHION”

I randomly came across this cushion while shopping at Illum in Copenhagen. It’s from a brand called MUJI, and they have so many nice products in general. But yeah, back to this cushion; it’s sooooo soft and comfortable!

It’s great to have behind your back when sitting on a chair, and sleeping on it feels amazing. I’ve basically taken it everywhere, when working at my desk, watching movies in the living room, and even for naps. I did stop using it as a pillow for sleeping at night because it’s so soft that my neck started to hurt after sleeping on it for so many hours. Not sure if that makes sense, but yeah.

This pillow is amazing, and it’s also easier to carry around compared to an actual pregnancy pillow. They even have a smaller version of it, and I will buy that one someday; pregnant or not. xD Haha!

YOGA BALL

I’ve been struggling to sit comfortably in the living room, maybe because our couch is so low? Not sure. But another must-have that I’ve been loving is my yoga ball!

When we watch movies or series, and I start feeling uncomfortable on the couch, I just switch to the yoga ball. I can do some light exercises and movements to feel better and lighter in my body. Plus, it’s a win-win; an easy way to sneak in some pregnancy exercises while watching my favorite show. 2-in-1! :P

Sometimes, when I’m working on the blog, I like to chill in the living room, working from the coffee table while sitting on the yoga ball as well. It’s been such a gamechanger!

SKIN AND BODY CARE

For skincare and body care, I’ve been using the moisturizer or body lotion from A-Derma! I asked at a pharmacy what to use to help prevent stretch marks during my pregnancy, and they recommended this one. The lotion is suitable for both the body and face, so I’ve also been using it as an all-around moisturizer, and I’ve been really happy with it! I also got the oil, which helps prevent stretch marks. So far, my belly is glowing. xD

A few stretch marks are starting to appear on the sides, but I’m not taking it too seriously. I mean it’s a part of it. I apply the cream and oil and just observe whether they work or not. I haven’t tried other lotions to compare or properly review this one, but so far, I feel really positive and optimistic about it, and I’m happy with how my skin looks!

MATERNITY CLOTHES

I initially tried not to buy maternity clothes, but at this point, I can’t breathe in my pants! And you know how the weather is in Denmark… you can never trust it, and it’s not warm enough to wear dresses and skirts just yet. But spring seems promising, so I haven’t bought too much so far. One thing I’ve been really happy with, though, are these two maternity pants from H&M:

These two pants have been soooo comfortable to wear and I can breathe! So it has been amazing! xD

I also bought these nursing bras from H&M because I couldn’t fit into my current ones anymore, so I figured I might as well start buying a few nursing bras. These are very comfortable, they almost feel like not wearing a bra at all. And you know, that’s definitely a girl’s dream! xD

The last essential I want to share with you are these tights from H&M. They are so comfortable to wear, and with these, I don’t have to buy new clothes. I can wear some of the dresses I already own, so in that way, I can save money by not buying too many extra clothes during pregnancy. :) I’ll probably buy more of these tights for my dresses and skirts. Also I’m pretty sure I can use these tights even after pregnancy xD H&M also have really good maternity leggins for an affordable price which I’ve also been enjoying a lot!
