If you read my previous blog post, you’ll know that I recently started joining workout classes because of baby swimming. Building on that, I also tried some workout classes for moms, where you get to bring your baby along. The cool thing about these classes is that you can pause whenever your baby needs you, take care of them, and then continue your workout once your baby is settled. I’m all here for this concept! Love it!
What’s amazing about these classes is also that everyone understands your situation, which makes it much less stressful. Plus, it’s a great way to socialize with other moms while bonding with your own baby. They even have workouts where your baby can join you instead of the weights xD haha.
I tried a reformer studio class for the first time, with my baby and I loved it. The workout was amazing, beginner-friendly, and my baby even enjoyed it. He wasn’t a fan of just lying beside me, but he definitely loved joining my workout as the “weight” xD.
I also tried a class called Mom in Shape and oh my god… this class is tough! It’s a mix of weightlifting, strength training, squats, lunges, and core work… you know, the whole package. After just the 10-minute warm-up, I’m already sweaty and exhausted xD. The class is 50 minutes long, and I absolutely love it! It’s tough but in such a good way, and I feel amazing afterwards.
I’ve now been to both classes twice, and I’m hooked. They make me feel sooo good! I cant wait to attend these classes again next week!
