A couple of weeks ago, I started going to several workout classes. In our mothers’ group, we agreed to try a baby swimming class together. I was both excited, stressed, and anxious about it xD, so I decided to check out the place beforehand. Spontaneously, I also signed up for some other classes, hoping it would help me feel less anxious about the baby swimming. I paid for 30 days, which meant I could attend all the workout classes they were offering during this time, including baby swimming.
The first class I tried was Step Fitness, and it was my first time ever! I’d only seen it on Instagram before and had no idea they offered it here in Denmark. Obviously, it was way harder than I expected, and honestly, I felt like I made a fool of myself, but I actually loved it and enjoyed it at the same time. It was such a fun cardio workout! I sucked at it though xD, but it was still really fun. I loved that there was space for everyone in the class, no matter the level. I’ll definitely try it again because even though it was tough, it was so much fun. You really have to focus to keep up with the steps xD.
I also got to try Yin Yoga a few times, and I absolutely loved it. It’s a very slow form of yoga where you focus on your breathing, and it’s exactly what I need. It felt amazing to do something meditative for 60 minutes just for myself.
All in all, it was a success, and I feel even more motivated to work out and do something for me. I could really tell how much my mood was lifted after these classes!
