Casablanca

I love, love, love when we go out to eat at a restaurant and it feels like a whole unique, warm experience and that is exactly what this was.

So first: I already apologize for not having more than one photo of the food, but I sadly didn’t get a picture that wasn’t blurry due to the lighting and also because I wanted to enjoy the meal. :P

I loved the whole experience at Casablanca. First of all, the restaurant feels personal, aesthetic, and rustic, with so many details. The interior and décor are put together so well. You can sense the Moroccan culture the minute you step into the restaurant.

The chef was really cool! He spends time with all the customers and makes everyone feel at home. You can tell he takes pride in his food, which I love! He wanted us to have the Moroccan experience, and I definitely feel like we got that.

The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and since the restaurant is small, it feels more intimate and personal. That also gives the owner/chef time to connect with customers, which I really like.

I asked him how long he has had his restaurant, and he told me 20 years; 10 years here and 10 years at another location, still in Vejle.

Everything about this restaurant and experience was just beautiful. It’s definitely a place I would go to again and highly recommend!
